If you've used Examview, you may know that there are some "quirks" or issues with it sometimes. Including receiving a 0% for a student's grade. Here are some tips for preventing errors in the results, thanks to the technology facilitators of FISD for the PDF:
Let the students know that if they get a pop-up box concerning their connection, they need to inform you immediately. You will have to retrieve the results for that assignment, then clear their results for that test or assignment. They will then be able to get back into it and it SHOULD work properly. This is why they should ALWAYS show their work and document their answers, that way they can input their answers fairly quickly if this does happen.
Any other issues that you've noticed?
Anyone know why Examview sometimes sends a blank for one question, but records every other answer and the results? I have had this with a couple of students who swear they input an answer for every single question, yet when they submit their answers one random question is blank. Thoughts?
